With permission from Marblehead’s Conservation Commission, the Trails Committee uses a small portion of the Robinson Farm Conservation area for a tree farm and for storage of tools for trails maintenance. While the tree farm fits well into any view of the surrounding green area, the shed, unfortunately, has looked out of place since it was first sited some three years ago.
Recently we took action to move it to a less obtrusive location. With the help of a moving company and their remarkable equipment, the shed is now nestled inside what remains of a barn foundation constructed in the nineteenth century. We thank neighbors and other users of this beautiful conservation area for their patience in waiting for the move.
