Tree Planting

Working with the Girl Scouts and other volunteers, the Conservancy planted hundreds of trees throughout Marblehead’s open spaces. Trees were donated by Lofty Oaks, Marblehead’s Forestry, Park and Recreation department, and others.

“A woodland in full color is awesome as a forest fire, in magnitude at least, but a single tree is like a dancing tongue of flame to warm the heart.”
